Cabbage Vada

Ingredients:
1/2 cup – each of urad, moong and chana dal and rice
1 – minced big onion
5 – green chillies, minced
1/2 – coconut, finely sliced
a pinch of asafoetida
1 cup – shredded cabbage
salt to taste
Method
- Soak the rice and dals separately for about 5 hours.
- Drain out the water and grind finely.
- Mix in the rest of the above ingredients and form into round cutlets and deep fry to a golden brown colour.
- Drain and serve with chutney of your choice.
